EMC Test Engineer – Contract Work
Ideal for Retired or Full/Part Time Engineer
Electromagnetic Compliance testing and evaluate various types of equipment around the US and Canada using the EMC EU and UK standards for direction. Possible out of country evaluations. Test equipment supplied.
Responsibilities
99% will be in the US. Able to set up, operate, and use various types of test equipment and create reports from those results. Most reports are software-generated. This is a self-supervised position with a Lead Manager. Travel Required in most cases. Here, you would be dealing directly with equipment, customers, and Engineers and providing direction based on EMC as inquiries rise.
Qualifications
Excellent knowledge of EMC test and evaluation, personal, verbal, and written communication skills.
